The Snapmaker U1 uses a Toolchanger system: 4 independent print heads, each loaded with its own color or material. That means color changes in seconds, far less filament waste than traditional color-swap systems, and the ability to combine different materials in the same part (like PLA with TPU, or soluble PVA supports).
